"This scent is punchy at the top but the base settles it in very subtly. Very well mixed and not exagerated on either end. You can find either tone if you focus on it. My only complaints would be the longevity and sillage are quite weak and it fades considerably within 3 hours. My First Daily Fragrance

"I don't usually like perfumes. They tend to give me headaches and smell chemically and overwhelming. I took the scent quiz and was scent the "woody" sampler and this is the only one from the box that I really loved. It doesn't give me a headache and smells very natural. I tend to like really earthy scents- think patchouli and sandelwood. This one intially strikes as very floral but is balanced with the vetiver to be wearable and avoid the "old lady" vibe of some of the others I tried. My husband doesn't have much of a sense of smell and tends to pick up on different odors than I do- he really notices the tonka in this one and describes it as spicy and warm, like cinnamon. He likes it and has asked me to put it on on days I've skipped. I really love the way it smells later in the evening, and even the next day. It settles in a moody, deep warmth that I really love. Definitely give this one a try, I'm really please with it and have already ordered a travel size to keep in my bag."
